Job Title: Construction Estimator

Rafat General Contracting is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our estimating process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate estimating and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure estimates are aligned with project requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and information for estimating purposes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our estimating processes remain efficient and effective.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as surveying technology or civil engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on quantity surveying and project cost management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and site teams.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and technology, with the ability to learn new systems and processes.
