Job Title: Construction Estimator

Rafat General Contracting is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our estimating process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates are aligned with project requirements and scope
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and information for estimating purposes
  • Develop and maintain estimating tools and templates to improve efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as surveying technology or civil engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certifications, such as RICS or CSCS
  • Experience with estimating software and systems
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices
