Job Title: Construction Estimator

Rafat General Contracting is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for construction projects, analyzing costs, and ensuring that our bids are accurate and competitive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
  • Analyze costs and develop strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are accurate and meet project requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that our estimating processes are efficient and effective
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in estimating software and technology, including MS Office and AutoCAD
