About the Role:

Auberge du Pommier is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Server Support Associate to join our Front of House team. As a Server Support Associate, you will provide exceptional support to our Servers by ensuring that all tables are properly set, clean, and complete. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of floor awareness and having a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Servers with food running and ensure that plates arrive at the correct table
  • Monitor the cleanliness of the section and ensure that all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
  • Communicate with Servers and Hosts to maximize seating and ensure a smooth dining experience
  • Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required
  • Ensure that condiments are pre-portioned and the fridges are stocked with milk, cream, butter, etc.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards to ensure that they meet our high standards
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests
  • Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of garbage and recycling
  • Communicate any comments or information provided by guests to the Servers to ensure a positive and memorable experience

Requirements:

  • A Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent considered an asset
  • Smart Serve Certification is a requirement
  • High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Organizational skills and ability to take direction and prioritize tasks
  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
