Risk Management Specialist

**About the Role**
Aviva Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of third-party risks across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive TPRM program that aligns with regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Develop and refine TPRM policies and standards to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate third-party risks.
- Monitor and report on compliance-related activities and provide insights to leadership and risk committees.
- Lead the development and implementation of risk management tools and dashboards to support TPRM program effectiveness.
- Provide input and commentary on TPRM program effectiveness to leadership and risk committees.
- Define and track key risk indicators (KRIs) to measure TPRM program effectiveness.
- Lead the collection, analysis, and aggregation of data to provide an enterprise view of TPRM program and compliance.
**Requirements**
- Degree in business, economics, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of relevant enterprise and/or operational risk management experience, preferably in the property/casualty insurance or related industry.
- Risk management qualifications or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks, and third-party risk subject matter.
- Strong familiarity with regulatory guidelines, such as OSFI Guideline B-10, B-13, and E-21.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills, including ability to manage large and complex data sets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout the reporting process.
- Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills to work effectively with key internal collaborators.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate risk-related information and insights to various team members.
- Strong project management skills.
