**About the Role**

Aviva Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of third-party risks across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive TPRM program that aligns with regulatory requirements and business needs.
  • Develop and refine TPRM policies and standards to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate third-party risks.
  • Monitor and report on compliance-related activities and provide insights to leadership and risk committees.
  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management tools and dashboards to support TPRM program effectiveness.
  • Provide input and commentary on TPRM program effectiveness to leadership and risk committees.
  • Lead monitoring and tracking of TPRM program adherence and drive consistency in applying risk management principles across business divisions and third-party types.
  • Define and track relevant Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to advise TPRM program effectiveness.
  • Lead the collection, analysis, and aggregation of data to provide an enterprise view of TPRM program and compliance.

**Requirements**

  • Degree in business, economics, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of relevant enterprise and/or operational risk management experience, preferably in the property/casualty insurance or related industry.
  • Risk management qualifications or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks and third-party risk subject matter.
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory guidelines, such as OSFI Guideline B-10, B-13, and E-21.
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and apply regulatory guidance.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including ability to manage large and complex data sets.
  • Proficient in data management and ability to collect, prioritize, and extract insights from various sources.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout the reporting process.
  • Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills to work effectively with key internal collaborators.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate risk-related information and insights to various team members.
  • Strong project management skills.
