Food Service Supervisor Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Methods: Develop and implement effective work methods to meet our high standards of food quality and customer service.
  • Requisition Supplies: Order and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary ingredients to deliver our menu items.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and supervise a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Train Staff: Provide training to new staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they can work safely and efficiently.
  • Hire Staff: Assist in the hiring process for new food service staff, ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience.
  • Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance to help us make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: College or equivalent education.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
