Job Summary

We are seeking an Audiologist (WWGS) to join our Public Health team in Abbotsford, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing audiological assessments, treatment, and rehabilitation services to children with hearing disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Perform audiological assessments for infants, preschool, and school-age children with suspected hearing disorders.
  • Identify, assess, diagnose, and provide rehabilitative treatment to clients with hearing disorders.
  • Evaluate, select, and fit hearing aids for clients, and provide ongoing monitoring and coordination of funding assistance.
  • Screen children and families, provide information or referral to other agencies, and counsel and educate clients and their families regarding hearing-related issues.
  • Provide guidance to Audiometric Technicians, ensure standards are met, and maintain related records, documentation, and statistics.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an approved school of Audiology.
  • One year's recent, related clinical experience or a combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current active registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC and certification in applicable advanced competency.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
