As a Senior Director, Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will play a key role in helping us achieve this vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial/Business Growth:
    • Full P&L accountability for pharmacies within Loblaw Companies Ltd. Grocery supermarkets in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northern Ontario.
    • Responsible for delivering on period financial results, identifying gaps and opportunities, and striving for continuous improvement in sales and script growth.
    • Monitor and review weekly sales projections, labour, and workflow, shrink, and inventory, training, professional services, quality assurance, promotional programs, store presentation, and project rollouts.
  • Culture & Colleagues:
    • Lead with our culture principles: Be Authentic, Build Trust, Make Connections, and our values: Care, Ownership, Respect, Excellence.
    • Build and implement recruitment strategy and engagement/retention plans, in partnership with Human Resources.
    • Continuous talent development of Pharmacy Directors as it relates to the multifaceted pharmacy market and leadership.
  • Enablement & Operational Excellence:
    • Monitor and review weekly sales projections, labour, and workflow, shrink, and inventory, training, professional services, quality assurance, promotional programs, store presentation, and project rollouts.
    • Consistent communication with Directors to keep them updated on the implementation of programs and initiatives, accountabilities, and provincial pharmacy regulatory changes.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Regular dialogue with the enterprise pharmacy team and Ops VP, relative to upcoming promotions, staffing, service, and store-specific commitments.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive, management-related experience.
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy; or equivalent.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Excellent eye for business.
  • Understanding of retail pharmacy processes.
  • Proven track record to lead ground-breaking change efforts.
  • Proven understanding of Pharmacy Landscape and Retail Industry.
  • Strong existing/collaborative relationships with regulatory and advocacy partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills; ability to empower a team.
  • Demonstrated skills in relationship building and influencing to achieve results.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, coaching, and mentoring skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
