As a Senior Director, Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will play a key role in helping us achieve this vision.

Key Responsibilities

Financial/Business Growth:

  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting process for pharmacies in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northern Ontario.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise pharmacy team to develop and implement business growth initiatives.

Culture & Colleagues:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating our culture principles of being authentic, building trust, making connections, and living our values of care, ownership, respect, and excellence.
  • Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to Pharmacy Directors to enhance their leadership skills.
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven culture where colleagues feel empowered to make a difference.

Enablement & Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise pharmacy team to develop and implement operational excellence initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation of pharmacy projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful execution.

Cross Functional Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the enterprise pharmacy team, Ops VP, and District Managers to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory and advocacy partners to stay informed on industry trends and developments.

Regional:

  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northern Ontario, identifying opportunities to improve our market position.
  • Develop and implement strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive management experience in pharmacy operations.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Excellent business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail pharmacy processes and the competitive landscape.
  • Proven track record of leading ground-breaking change efforts.
