Brunel is actively seeking a skilled D&IT Workforce Planning Strategist to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker to play a pivotal part in optimizing Brunel's D&IT workforce, tracking resources, and enhancing space planning initiatives.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
Key Responsibilities include:
- Performing complex analysis for workforce plan and providing insights for decision making.
- Leading and executing comprehensive D&IT workforce planning analyses, considering current and future staffing needs, skill requirements, and alignment with D&IT and organizational goals.
- Collaborating closely with the HR team to develop and maintain accurate workforce tracking systems, ensuring real-time, reliable data for effective decision-making.
- Engaging in D&IT-focused space planning activities, evaluating workspace utilization, and recommending improvements for optimal efficiency and collaboration.
- Generating D&IT-centric reports and presenting key findings to stakeholders, offering insights into IT workforce trends, space utilization, and actionable recommendations.
- Working collaboratively with D&IT and cross-functional teams to understand departmental needs and align workforce and space planning strategies with D&IT project timelines.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT workforce planning, contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the D&IT domain.
Deliverables
- Analysis and Reporting: A key deliverable is the comprehensive analysis for D&IT workforce plan, along with ongoing monitoring and reporting to ensure real-time, reliable data for effective decision-making.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Collaborating with D&IT key stakeholder, HR team and Office Services is crucial to achieve desired results and ensure the implementation of appropriate improvement initiatives.
- Effective Controls and Processes: The D&IT Workforce Planning Strategist is expected to establish and maintain effective controls and processes for D&IT workforce planning and related space planning activities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a result-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and industry-standard practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for interacting with cross-functional teams, including D&IT key stakeholder, HR team and Office Services. The ideal candidate will also possess technical proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and/or Spotfire, and experience with IT-related platforms like SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors, and Oracle. In addition, they should have a bachelor's degree in science or commerce, along with 5-10 years of strong analytical experience in large oil and gas companies in Canada.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
