Job Title: Registered Nurse - Primary Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Primary Care at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for nursing and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for clients in the community setting. You will also work closely with clients, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare providers to arrange long-term care, nursing care, home support, or other service delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and develop patient care plans
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and provide support and health education as required
  • Liaise with clients, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare providers to arrange long-term care, nursing care, home support, or other service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Gerontology content, post-basic course in wound care management or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Valid BC Driver's License
