We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient-centered care.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
