Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at Ozone West Wellness Limited (AKA NORTHUMBERLAND HEIGHTS WELLNESS RETREAT AND SPA). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking, ensuring optimal supply levels.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible deals.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, promoting our services and increasing revenue.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting and carrying of objects.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
