Job Summary

Action Restaurant Equipment Services is seeking a skilled Commercial Appliance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including gas appliances
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and extend equipment lifespan
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, with physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
