Job Summary

Action Restaurant Equipment Services is seeking a skilled Commercial Appliance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing commercial kitchen equipment to ensure our clients' operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including gas appliances, to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their equipment needs and provide solutions
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and occasional on-call weekend duties
