We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented In-Field Technician to join our team at AeroBarrier. As an In-Field Technician, you will be responsible for applying the AeroBarrier process on residential, high-rise, and commercial projects. You will work closely with customers and crew members to identify and execute solutions to reduce air leakage in structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the AeroBarrier application process from start to finish, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate maintenance risks on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and general equipment faults, as well as structure envelope issues.
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance functions, including daily logs and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations.
  • Collaborate with customers, job site superintendents, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Understanding of advanced principles of mechanical equipment and building science.
  • Ability to direct crew members and provide technical guidance.
  • Customer-centric attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software, including AeroBarrier's point-and-click system.
