Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to support all aspects of time management and payroll processing in our Canadian operations.

This role will oversee time and schedule management, conduct payroll audits, and ensure data accuracy while maintaining strict confidentiality and a strong customer focus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage SAP Time and Schedule queries, including updates, audits, reviews, testing, and validation.
  • Configure and maintain time and scheduling data to support payroll accuracy.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of payroll and time-related issues, ensuring data integrity.
  • Monitor and report on leave balances, providing insights to internal stakeholders as required.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external payroll inquiries.
  • Contribute to time, schedule, and payroll projects, including system enhancements, audits, and support initiatives, to improve service quality.
  • Provide back-up support for payroll team members during absences.
  • Support year-end administration and other payroll processes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll within an integrated financial and payroll system.
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification or similar payroll designation is highly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP CATS is advantageous but not required.
  • Proficient in Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly under deadlines, managing multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail with excellent time management capabilities.
  • Maintains confidentiality with utmost professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
