About the Role

Blackline Safety is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to administer payroll processes and manage employee benefit programs. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll and benefits changes, enrolments and offboarding for regular and off-cycle payrolls for multiple pay groups in Canada and the United States
  • Support the monthly remittance for employee contributions to the Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP) using various systems and resources
  • Support benefits enrolments through Sunlife (Canada) and Employee Navigator (United States)
  • Assist with reconciliation of 50+ federal, state and local tax accounts, existing within American and Canadian business entities
Qualifications
  • Experienced payroll professional with a minimum of 3+ years experience in full-cycle payroll and benefits administration
  • FPC and PCP/CPM certification or commitment to pursue in the first year of employment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in tasks
What We Offer
  • An estimated salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience
