Key Holder

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Key Holder to join our team at Elegant Apparel. As a Key Holder, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our sales floor, maintaining a high level of customer service, and supporting the store team in achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that the sales floor is adequately staffed at all times.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the sales floor is always fully stocked.
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that the sales floor is open and operating at the designated times.
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help the store team make informed decisions.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that the sales floor is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Balance cash and record sales to ensure that the store's financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability and flexibility.
The sales floor is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. The Key Holder will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
