About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Ahmic Lake Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training for our cooking staff to enhance our menu offerings.
  • Supervise and mentor specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Train cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to maintain our high culinary standards.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and special functions.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain our inventory levels.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances to ensure their safety and satisfaction.
  • Recruit and hire staff to maintain a skilled and motivated kitchen team.
