About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team at MiCiM Ltd, where you will play a crucial role in the smooth execution of large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Programme Management: Collaborate with the Planning Executive to maintain programme consistency across projects, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Documentation Control: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, from project initiation to completion, maintaining control and traceability.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present project reports, monitoring performance metrics, and analyzing trends to inform decision-making.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to non-planning project staff, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Issue Management: Maintain a register of programme issues, ensuring prompt resolution and effective communication.
  • Supply Chain Management: Establish protocols and manage supply chain programme production, issue, and acceptance.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Foster seamless integration of design, procurement, and construction elements, ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the development of best practices and share knowledge with planning department peers.

About You:

  • Experience and Expertise: Possess previous planning experience and knowledge of construction industry practices.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate with suppliers and clients.
  • Technical Skills: Be systems-savvy and adept at learning new project management software.
