Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a variety of project-related tasks from inception to completion, ensuring all activities are coordinated effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Participate in pre-construction activities, including meetings and tendering phases, ensuring compliance with specifications and budget constraints.
  • Prepare detailed project schedules, quotations, and estimates.
  • Plan and coordinate work plans for assigned projects, adapting as necessary to meet evolving requirements.
  • Define project tasks and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for project execution.
  • Resolve issues and escalate performance-related challenges as needed.
  • Lead project meetings and assist in interpreting contract terms and conditions.
  • Manage the design/build process, providing recommendations for improvements and alternative solutions.
  • Monitor project timelines and report progress to stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and employee hours.
  • Conduct follow-ups with site supervisors regarding labor progress and manage documentation related to project control.
  • Investigate electrical-related issues and lead negotiations for claims with subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with the finance department for cost analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes and installation techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster long-term relationships with customers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure subcontractors understand their roles and responsibilities regarding safety procedures.
  • Maintain organized project completion paperwork and adhere to safety standards.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including document archiving and warranty management.
Qualifications
  • 309A Electrical License.
  • Education in a construction-related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in electrical, mechanical, or construction environments.
  • Proficient in estimating software, particularly Accubid.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful project completions.
  • Exemplary leadership qualities and a positive attitude.
