Office Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at City Furniture & Appliances. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Tasks: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents; receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries; work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, and databases.
- Document Management: Sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and other documents; process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically; label files according to retention and disposal schedules.
- Customer Service: Provide general information to clients and the public; order office supplies and maintain inventory; perform data entry; provide customer service.
- Organizational Skills: File material in storage areas; organize and schedule office work; prepare and monitor contracts and budgets; store, update, and retrieve financial data.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
