Agricultural Products Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Products Inspection Supervisor to join our team at Great Northern Hydroponics. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our agricultural products.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and inspect samples from plants or products to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
- Enforce government acts and regulations related to agricultural products, ensuring that all products meet the required standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of agricultural products to detect any harmful diseases, chemical residues, or infestations.
- Explain required standards to agricultural workers and ensure that they understand the importance of quality control.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and complete reports as required.
- Investigate consumer and trade complaints related to agricultural products.
- Take emergency actions, such as closing production facilities, if product safety is compromised.
- 5 years or more of experience in agricultural products inspection or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of government regulations and industry standards related to agricultural products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
