Financial Modeling Specialist: Drive Liquidity and Funding Strategies

Societe Generale is seeking a highly skilled Financial Modeling Specialist to join our Asset and Liability Management Department (DFIN/ALM) in the Americas Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and providing liquidity expertise, owning the liquidity model design and calibration, and reviewing and explaining liquidity dashboard and reporting exposures.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, with 1-3 years of industry experience in funding or asset product lines or extensive accounting/balance sheet knowledge. Strong Excel skills, data management, and pivot tables are essential, as well as the ability to translate technical modeling and business line analysis into various written formats.

In this role, you will participate in the design and implementation of liquidity models, describe modeling and liquidity risk in documentation, test and validate models implemented, and enhance business line analysis of stress testing. You will also collaborate with Treasury, Second Line of Defense (2LOD)/Risk department, various business lines, Operations, Liquidity Reporting, IT, Data Quality, and other functions supporting the implementation of the models.
