About the Role

Societe Generale is seeking a Financial Balance Sheet Expert to join its Asset and Liability Management Department in the Americas Region. This role will be responsible for maintaining and providing Liquidity Expertise, owning liquidity model design and calibration, and reviewing and explaining liquidity dashboard and reporting exposures.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform ad hoc portfolio and balance sheet analysis, including stress tests by business line analysis.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of Liquidity Stress Testing (LST) results, including drivers of stressed balance sheet and commentary for presentations.
  • Drive liquidity modeling projects, including design, implementation, and testing of models, as well as data analytics and documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate or master's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Established knowledge in funding or asset product lines, or extensive accounting/balance sheet knowledge.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including data management and pivot tables.
  • Ability to translate technical modeling and business line analysis into written formats.
  • Leadership, project management, and liaison skills between business, quantitative research, and technology teams.
