Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Your Dollar Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
- Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, ensuring that our store is always stocked with the latest products and promotions.
- Sales and Customer Service: Foster a positive and engaging shopping environment, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective sales techniques and promotions.
- Store Operations: Establish and maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Financial Management: Manage cash handling, reconcile sales and inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to team members to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field an asset.
