Central Protection Services is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, customers, and visitors on site.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, employees, and external partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conducting risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on health and safety matters
  • Investigating incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement business continuity plans

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety or a related discipline. They will also hold a recognized health and safety certification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a similar industry. They should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
