Job Title: Health and Safety Officer

Central Protection Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, clients, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide reports to management.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of health and safety.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a health and safety role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
