About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Bella Coola General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients/clients on the inpatient ward, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients/clients.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are patient-centered and meet the needs of the individual.
- Contribute to the education and training of new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.

Requirements
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a recognized advanced nursing program in emergency or critical care nursing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
