Accommodation Services Manager

Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat is seeking a highly skilled Accommodation Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our resort.
Key Responsibilities:- Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, ensuring the best possible rates and services.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional guest service.
- Marketing and Sales: Prepare marketing plans to promote our resort and services, and negotiate with clients for the use of our facilities.
- Financial Management: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring the financial health of the resort.
- Guest Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, providing prompt and effective solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
