Job Title: Accommodation Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Accommodation Services Manager to join our team at Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, ensuring the best possible value for our resort.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Marketing and Sales: Prepare marketing plans to promote our resort and increase revenue, working closely with our sales team to achieve targets.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
