Accommodation Services Director

Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat is seeking a highly skilled Accommodation Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort's accommodation services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Staff Recruitment and Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Performance Reviews and Training: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Supplier Negotiations and Procurement: Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and services.
- Customer Service and Complaint Resolution: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure the financial stability of the resort.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and team work.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure excellent customer service.
- Combination of Sitting, Standing, and Walking: Perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
