Job Title: Administrative Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Project Coordinator to join our team at Upper Canada Specialty Hardware Limited. As an Administrative Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our project management team, ensuring the smooth execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve project efficiency
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they meet project requirements
  • Delegate work to office support staff to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including preparing operating budgets and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to ensure seamless project execution
  • Resolve conflict situations and monitor and evaluate project progress
  • Supervise technical and support staff to ensure they are meeting project requirements
  • Produce project designs and oversee analysis of data and information to prepare reports
  • Develop and administer policies and programs to support project objectives
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure project facilities are well-maintained
  • Coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure project objectives are met
  • Manage the operations of a department providing several administrative services to support project execution
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in project coordination or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
