Job Overview

As a Sales Growth Representative at Fastenal, you will play a vital role in driving sales to specific customer groups from mid-size accounts and group purchasing organizations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support to these accounts by preparing presentations, conducting sales calls, and maintaining top-notch customer service. This position offers the potential for a flexible schedule after an onboarding period, training, and meeting performance goals.

Key Responsibilities Your duties as a Sales Growth Representative will include but are not limited to:
  • Driving sales within your assigned Book of Business
  • Developing and presenting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to customers
  • Providing regular reporting to customers
  • Collaborating with Branches to serve their customer needs

Required Position Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Safety, Metalworking, or a related field OR at least 2 years of Fastenal work experience or equivalent industry experience in sales, marketing, education, or administration
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
  • Exceptional problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Demonstration of Fastenal's core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
  • Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs, potentially up to 75lbs
  • Passing the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on location and performance.
