About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our retail merchandising team at Devrew Merchandising.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study market trends and consumer behavior to inform purchasing decisions
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to optimize costs
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
  • Provide exceptional customer service to build brand loyalty and drive sales
  • Review business requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, aligning with sales targets
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate/diploma from a program lasting 1-2 years
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a related role, preferably in retail or sourcing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams

  • An estimated annual salary range of $55,000-$70,000, depending on location and experience
