Executive Culinary Team Lead

SILVER SPOON is seeking a skilled Executive Culinary Team Lead to oversee the culinary operations of our esteemed restaurant. This is a permanent, full-time position offering 40 hours of work per week.
About the RoleAs an Executive Culinary Team Lead, you will be responsible for establishing efficient methods to meet work schedules and supervising the activities of food preparation staff. You will also train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation. Additionally, you will hire food service staff, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate activities of food preparation staff
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Strong client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and teamwork are essential qualities for this position.
Work EnvironmentThis is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure. Walking is also a requirement for this role.
Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a permanent work term with opportunities for professional growth and development.
