The Arts and Science Undergraduate Society (ASUS) is a student-led organization that provides various services and benefits to its members.

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Accounting Co-Directors.

As an Accounting Co-Director, you will play a crucial role in maintaining ASUS's financial integrity and ensuring smooth financial operations within the Society.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Vice President (Operations)/CFO and General Manager with daily financial operations.
  • Hold regular office hours to meet with members and address their financial inquiries.
  • Monitor account activity and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure responsible financial management and transparency throughout the Society.

Financial Management Skills:

  1. Budget Management
  • Develop and manage operating budgets for ASUS members.
  • Maintain live spending updates on the General Operating Budget.
  • Ensure responsible spending by ASUS Commissions, Committees, DSCs, and other groups.
Compensation Distribution
  • Distribute food credits and honoraria according to established schedules.
  • Process payments via approved methods.
  • Notify recipients of payments and address inquiries.
Reimbursement Processing
  • Process Reimbursement Requests and Debit/Credit forms weekly.
  • Verify reimbursement requests and seek clarification if needed.
  • Process reimbursements through approved methods.
