Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Ren's Pets. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to ensure team members are aligned with company goals
- Customer Service and Sales
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Store Operations and Visual Merchandising
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
- Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to drive sales and improve customer engagement
- Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organization
- Recruitment and Training
- Recruit, hire, and train new sales associates to ensure a high-performing team
- Develop and implement training programs to improve sales skills and customer service
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure team members are meeting expectations
- Inventory Management and Loss Prevention
- Oversee the management of inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and improve inventory management
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with store management, sales associates, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless store operations
- Collaborate with other store leaders to achieve company goals and objectives
- Provide regular updates and reports to store management on store performance and sales data
- Education and Experience
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Retail management experience mandatory
