Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Lu's Convenience Store Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase sales and improve merchandising displays.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Financial Management: Manage cash handling, process transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and expenses.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop store staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure that the store is clean, well-maintained, and meets company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 44 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance required.
