Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer Co-op to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Process Engineer Co-op, you will assist with technical data analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with technical data analysis to support process development, deviation, and annual reports.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and yield.
  • Investigate atypical events through data compilation and statistical analysis.
  • Support process improvement projects and contribute to the development of new processes.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, and present results to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary diploma in Chemistry, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Working towards a BSc in Chemistry or Engineering.
  • Previous experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing, SAP enterprise software, and statistical analysis is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort. Use of personal protective equipment is required.
