Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer Co-op to join our team. As a Process Engineer Co-op, you will assist with technical data analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and apply practical and technical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving to optimize process efficiency and product quality.
  • Support investigations and data compilation to determine root causes of atypical events.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects and prepare technical reports.
  • Participate in change management activities and use SAP enterprise software to navigate business operations.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary diploma in Chemistry, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Working towards a BSc in Chemistry or Engineering.
  • Previous experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing and SAP enterprise software is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to moderate physical discomfort from factors such as dust, loud noise, and bright lights. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required.
