Liburdi Automation Inc. is an industry leader, specializing in the design and manufacture of welding systems and precision welding power supplies. We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Mechanical Engineering Co-op
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to)
Assisting with design work
Sourcing equipment for new designs
Assisting with various projects as requested
Performing documentation functions (assembly drawings, detail drawings, procedures)
Producing marketing concepts and renderings for job bids
Assisting with quality control processes
Observing and assisting with shop floor and hands-on tasks
Designing 3D printed components and running our industrial grade printers
Key Skill Requirements:
Solutions focused, organized, and project driven
Excellent internal and external customer service skills
Internal drive and a “can do” attitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work with tight deadlines and high demands
Key Education / Experience Requirements
CAD experience required, Solid Edge experience an asset
Basic welding experience beneficial
Working knowledge of welding processes, welding fabrication and quality control preferred
Interest in material and welding metallurgy an asset
Multiple language skills an asset
Availability for an 8 month co-op position from Jan 2025 – Aug 2025
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
Current registration in a co-op eligible post secondary program
