Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Khan Baba. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all food and service meet our high expectations
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations

Work Environment:

Khan Baba is a fast-paced environment that requires our team members to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods, work a combination of sitting and standing, and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic and physically demanding role.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding role
