IT Support Specialist

We are a leading healthcare provider in the GTA and South Western Ontario region, committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic care and imaging services. As a Help Desk Support professional with KMH Cardiology Centres Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications.
Job Description- Provide exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring their systems and applications are functioning effectively.
- Respond to issues and enquiries via email, remote, and on-site support to KMH staff/users as required.
- Enable support for system access, including creating and managing user accounts.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Investigating and diagnosing technical problems, recording incidents (ticket system), and restoring service if possible.
- Assigning incidents to the next level of support team as required.
- Providing initial contact for technical questions regarding personal computer hardware and software deployed within the company.
You will also be expected to:
- Maintain awareness of current initiatives, rollouts, and changes to the technical environment.
- Inspect all locations and assure the cleanliness and tidiness of IT-related equipment.
- Collect feedback from users to continuously improve the experience.
- Solid knowledge and demonstrated experience using desktop products and operating systems (Windows environment).
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, WiFi access points).
- Experience supporting back-office applications and industry-standard business software applications (MS Office and Outlook).
This is a 1-year contract position with full-time hours (8 hour shift, Monday-Friday). Additional hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on IT operational needs.
