About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team at Florenceville Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process check-in and check-out procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations, including handling guest inquiries, processing room reservations, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Cash Handling and Accounting: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and process guest payments in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills, and contribute to process improvements to ensure exceptional guest service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
