About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, and surfaces
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste receptacles
  • Restock supplies and linens as needed
  • Assist with special events and projects as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or facilities maintenance an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts as needed
