About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week.
