Job Description

The Program Management Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the curation, progress, and implementation of the CuGP in alignment with the strategic plan and company objectives.
  • Aligning the TDS CuGP roadmap to support Teck and TDS projects and timelines.
  • Managing executive communications and vendor relationships on behalf of CuGP.
  • Collaborating with PDG, Operational Readiness, and Departmental managers to request and acquire required project resources.
  • Providing transparency into project and program health through published schedules, regular status reporting, and current budget and forecasts.
  • DIRECTLY SUPPORTING PROGRAM MANAGER WITH EXECUTIVE UPDATES, CUGP UPDATES, AND AD HOC REPORTING REQUESTS.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at both technical and executive levels. They will also have practical experience working on projects up to $10M and be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • PMP Certification and Agile Scrum Master designation is considered an asset.
  • Practical experience in Business Analysis, Change Management, or Team Lead roles.
  • Strong vendor management capabilities, including experience with contracts.
  • Practical experience working on projects up to $10M.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at both technical and executive levels.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and Organizational Change Management.
